Evangelism University is a youth event designed for youth leaders who are ready to begin sharing the Gospel with those around them. These lessons are from their 2021 conference where the youth attendees were encouraged to give a Bible to someone they knew who needed to hear the Gospel. Over 54 youth groups attended the virtual youth rally and 1,167 World Bible School Study Bibles were delivered to participating congregations and individuals.
We all have the charge to go out into the world and tell others about Jesus. “The Gospel: Good News for a Change” is a great place to begin preparing and actively proclaiming your faith. Each lesson includes a video message and discussion questions. Also included are exercises that give specific action items to complete toward the task of telling someone you love about the Gospel.
This course consists of five lessons:
- The Gospel of Your Salvation
- The Gospel of Hope
- The Gospel of Peace
- The Gospel of Grace
- The Gift of the Gospel
In a world full of negativity, the Gospel of Christ is GOOD NEWS for a change. The Gospel of Christ has transformed the lives of many people throughout history. Therefore, the Gospel is also good news FOR A CHANGE. Knowledge of what Jesus has done for us has the power to bring salvation, hope, peace and innumerable blessings. With Jesus, we can wake up each morning with confidence and peace knowing that God is with us.
However, Jesus tells us that we cannot simply hold onto the Gospel for ourselves but we must share the Good News with others. In the passage commonly referred to as the Great Commission, Jesus tells his followers to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
The task of sharing your faith might feel daunting. Maybe you feel you do not know enough or you might fear people’s reaction if you talk about Jesus. Our mission as Christians is to plant the seeds of knowledge of Jesus and water to help others grow their faith. God will provide the growth just as 1 Corinthians 3:7 states, “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.”
Find some friends and begin the course “The Gospel: Good News for a Change.” Learn how to plant seeds for the Lord, pray for those you are trying to reach and watch the amazing power of Jesus transform lives.
