What would you say was the meaning of the life you’ve lived so far?
This is a personal question whose answer will vary from person to person. What are you living for? Who or what is in the driver’s seat of your life? How did you spend your time and resources? Where did you put your focus? What was most important to you?
The meaning of your life is seen in how you spent your time and resources and who and what you valued. What we do shows who we are. Jesus said, “A tree is known by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33). A person’s day timer (a calendar listing each day’s plans and activities) and bank or credit card statements show clearly what we valued and how we spent our lives.
