Knowledge is defined as information, understanding, or skill that you can get from experience or education. Intelligence is defined as the ability to apply knowledge. Many suffer, or even perish, due to lack of knowledge about health and wellness, or having gained that knowledge, lack the intelligence to effectively apply it. The following guidelines are based upon solid science and should be added to your knowledge base and applied intelligently to stay on the road to wellness: minimize the stress in your life; engage in regular exercise; avoid tobacco, recreational drugs, and alcohol; achieve a healthy weight and maintain it; pursue an active lifestyle; and eat a healthy diet. Think young! Engage your brain, be a student for life, stay close to friends and family, get adequate rest, and stay positive. Be wise, persevere, and be healthy!
