Walk with the Doc – Chapter 2
Do you want to add years to your life and life to your years? While it is true that aging is inevitable and death is certain, through lifestyle management we can make the most of the time we are allotted here on Earth. Genetics defines our risk, but how we chose to manage that risk through lifestyle choice is far more important. How we opt to live our lives determines ultimately the nature and time of our death. Life expectancy in the United States is just under 80 years, and yet we are 43rd in the world in that regard. One thing we can do better is to be less sedentary. Walkers live longer and fast walkers live longer still. Walking the road toward wellness will add quality to your life and precious additional years.
