How could the video make the definitive statement that “God loves you”?
The video vividly demonstrates that God gave his Son to die on the cross for every human being. All humans (that includes you) were in the mind of God when Jesus died for the sins of the human race. God would not have done that for you if he did not love you. God would not let Abraham sacrifice “his son, his only son, Isaac, the one he loved” (Genesis 22:1-2), but God sacrificed his Son for you. What God refused for Abraham to do, he did himself for you. What more could God do to prove that he loves you? He could not give a greater gift or make a greater sacrifice.
God invested the life and blood of his son in you. This means that, no matter who you are or what you have done, God loves you. He wishes to forgive all your sins through the merits of the shed blood of his Son. He wants to give you new life in Jesus, be your heavenly Father, and take you to be with him forever in the future, eternal world.
