Do you truly know, believe and feel that God loves you?

If you look at yourself or inside your own mind or at what’s happening in the world, you might doubt that God loves you. Our experiences have a way of hiding God because we focus on the immediate. We forget our Creator and what he did for us in the person of Jesus nearly two thousand years ago.

If you look into the Scriptures and think about Jesus and what he did for you at the cross, then you will know, believe and feel that God loves you. The cross says that God loves you so much it hurts. The cross says that God loves you, no matter who you are and what you’ve done. The cross says that God will never stop loving you. God says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). If you were the only sinner in all the world, Jesus would have died for you. He loves each of us as though there were only one of us to love. The cross says that God loves and cares for you no matter how you feel, what you think, what others are doing or how evil the world is.
